We think alike. I also use the strap on video cam for example. Half of a plastic easter egg makes a perfect nose cone for it, fyi.
I just got a 12" V2 from Performance Rocketry, and I can't find build notes anywhere. I see that John Hansel launched one at Southern Thunder. Any idea how I might reach him for build tips (nose weight, Rocksim, did he add a wider centering ring at the bottom to transfer thrust to the airframe directly instead of through the motor tube and adhesives... etc.)
